Paulo Avelino (born as Michael Paulo Lingbanan Avelino on May 13, 1988) is a Filipino actor, model and television host. Avelino began his acting career through the reality talent show StarStruck. Currently, Paulo Avelino is in a relationship with LJ Reyes. Last July 24, 2010, LJ gave birth to their son, Ethan Akio Reyes.
Paolo's mother is Jennylyn Lina-ao Lingbanan from Bangaan, Sagada and Bontoc she graduated from Saint Mary's School in Sagada, Mountain Province. Paolo's father is half-Spanish and half-Waray, hailing from Calbayog City, Samar. Therefore, Paolo is half-Igorot, one-fourth Waray and one-fourth Spanish.
